Whether you're choosing a monthly subscription for yourself, or a gift for a loved one, the Major Oak Angling Academy provides you with everything you need to start fishing.
In your first months tackle box you'll receive all of the whip fishing equipment you need to get out on the bank - plus access to your unique Angling Academy videos, showing you how to buy bait, check if you need a rod licence, how to tackle up and so much more!
Each month (around 7 days after your monthly payment is made) you'll receive a new tackle box full of goodies to expand your fishing knowledge - This is accompanied by a new suite of films showing you how to get the most from what you've received. Plus, each month you'll be challenged to catch a new species of fish!

You can cancel your subscription at any time, although after 6 months your subscription automatically stops - and you'll have all the equipment and knowledge you need to be a successful whip angler.
If you are looking for a unique present idea, then the gift plan is just what you need. You'll receive a unique gift code to send to the intended recipient. They can then activate their account and arrange delivery of their first months tackle box.

Can I start the Academy at any time?
A.
Absolutely! Once you start your academy subscription, you will be sent the first package which includes a whip, rig, disgorger and plummet – Everything you need to get fishing. You'll also get your log in to the Major Oak Angling Academy website, where you will be able to view all of the training videos applicable to your first months tackle package.

When will I receive my first box?

We’ll post out your first tackle box within 7 days of receiving your payment.
Q.
When does the subscription renew?
A.
Unless your order is a gift, your subscription will auto-renew on the same day of the month as when your original payment was taken from your account.
Q.
Do the tackle boxes fit through the letter box?
A.
Most of them do! However, some months you'll get so much tackle (like your starter pack with month 1) the package is too big for your letter box, so your delivery will arrive via courier.
Q.
I'm not ready to commit to a subscription... Is it possible to just try it out?
A.
Yes – The first tackle box includes everything you need to try fishing (minus some bait!). If you decide you don't want to subscribe, just cancel your subscription in the My Account section. You can also order our boxes as a one-off gift which do not auto-renew.

If I order a gift subscription, do I get the tackle monthly or all in one go?
A.
You can choose which you would prefer! You can either have your tackle delivered monthly, or you can request to have the full amount of your gift subscription (3 or 6 months) delivered in one go! If you choose this option, all of the associated coaching videos will also become available.

Do you ship outside of the UK?
A.
No, unfortunately at this time we are unable to ship outside of the UK.
